Amber Cheng

Amber’s finance background began 25 years ago in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she received her MBA and worked as a financial system auditor at Cargill, Inc. She has been working in various financial management positions, including business risk management, financial reporting, and financial system design, in several American Fortune 500 companies. Amber is a proud Suzuki parent of a violinist, and moved with family from Chicago to London in 2010. She has served as President of the Parent Council at Pearson School for the Arts, and as a board member of Forest City Talent Education. Born in China, Amber speaks mandarin Chinese.
Alan Duncan
Web design and management
A physician by training, Alan Duncan is also an avid collaborative pianist, most recently with the Trio Grazioso, a piano trio based in Minnesota. He is a frequent contributor to the American Suzuki Journal and blogs extensively on the intersection between music and parenting at The Suzuki Experience. He previously served on the boards of directors of Southeastern Minnesota Suzuki Association and the Southeastern Minnesota Youth Orchestras. Prior to relocating to London, Alan was Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and previously directed the ground-breaking SPARC Innovation Program at the Mayo Clinic.
