We have two programs at YAPCA - the chamber program and the Young Artists Orchestra. The fees and registration differ. Please read the following carefully to ensure that you are registering for the correct program.

YAPCA

The Young Artists Pre-College Academy welcomes violinists, violists, and cellists ages 13 and older. Advanced students who are younger than 13 are encouraged to inquire about their preparedness for the program.

The school is ideal for students who are seeking to refine their ensemble and chamber music skills in a collegial environment. Placement in the program is by in-person audition. If the school has already contacted you about admission, then you do not need to audition.

YAPCA is a not-for-profit organization and our fees are set based on registration.

YAO

The Young Artists Orchestra is part of the YAPCA family of programs, intended to give young musicians a preparatory orchestral experience in a fun environment with friends. Most of our students are 8-16 years of age and play at different levels. Whether you’re in your first year of playing or are already in Suzuki Book 6, YAO has a part for you to play.

Registration and tuition for the Young Artists Orchestra

The 2023 tuition is $380 for the year. If multiple siblings are participating, please inquire at [email protected] about fee reduction. You can pay tuition via e-transfer at [email protected] or by personal cheque at the first rehearsal on September 20, 2023.
